At My Neighborhood Shopper you will find our staff to be professional, resourceful, creative and always working in the best interest of clients to achieve the greatest possible response rates from our 2- 8 page glossy tabs for our customers! Ultimately, we think of our clients as “partners” and we work to build long lasting business relationships.

We are a direct mail publication that is delivered every week by Valassis’ RedPlum wrap. We are mailed directly into the mailbox and distribute to over 250,000 homes per publication in specific areas, which that means that thousands of people will see your advertisement every single week usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

Our large volume shopper business has allowed us to negotiate rates that cannot be beat. Advertising with “My Neighborhood Shopper” is affordable for all businesses whether small or large We also partner with other specialty printers to offer additional services to our clients for other types of print media including direct mail, brochures, postcards, point of sale products, business forms and more.

OWNERS:

The Neighborhood Shopper is owned by Media Print Solutions, an 11 year old full service advertising agency that handles thousands of clients across the US with all of their direct mail needs. Becky Gould, the owner, has been in the advertising industry for over 25 years. She was a former PennySaver employee that held long-standing friendships with her colleagues. Recently after the  closing of the PennySaver, she partnered with a colleague who has been in the advertising industry for 30 years and has a experience in working with newspapers, magazines and direct mail publications in both the production, sales and management positions. Here is their story…

HOW WE BECAME UNITED.

On May 22, 2015 the well-known “California PennySaver” , which had been in business for over 50 years, was literally shut down by a company that had purchased the Pennysaver 3 years prior. This company, left hundreds of employees jobless and thousands of businesses without and advertising vehicle that they had depended on for years. Several of the “now former” PennySaver employees called Media Print Solutions to see what might be done to save these local businesses, given most had nowhere to advertise any longer.

Becky Gould and her partner quickly teamed up to collaborate on ideas, and together they designed and formed the Neighborhood Shopper publications, which would enable previous PennySaver businesses an affordable way to advertise their business with an even better publication and also reach customers that they would not have been able to reach by giving them a large distribution on a 4-color glossy publication. Within a weeks’ time, the first version of the “Stockton Neighborhood Shopper” had hit the press!

My Neighborhood Shopper continues to grow and prosper into more neighborhoods. The management directive is to make sure the advertisers are successful through the readership of the publication and website.
